Frequently asked questions
How does the nuud Stick differ from the cream in terms of application and effectiveness?
In general, cream substances absorb more easily so it follows that the nuud cream is slightly more effective than the stick. But then some people really dislike applying nuud with fingers and that’s where our stick comes in.
What are the Stick’s ingredients?
Coconut oil**, corn starch*, sunflower wax*, myrica Berry wax*, olive oil**, triethyl citrate (plant-based deodorant active ingredient)*, plant-based wax*, plant-based emollient*, emulsifier from macadamia oil*, lactic acid salt*, vitamine E*, zinc oxide*, sunflower oil*, silver*, plant-based emollient*, plant-based thickener*
* 100% natural
** organic
Is the stick fragrance-free?
Yes, we let perfume out, so the stick is suitable for people with sensitive skin. But thanks to the combination of natural ingredients, nuud smells naturally delish.
Is the stick suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, the stick has been tested by Derma Consult - a prominent German testing facility. Fifty people with sensitive skin took part and zero of them showed any reaction to nuud.
Can all genders and ages use nuud Stick?
Short answer, yes. nuud loves all armpits.
Here’s the science for the curious: We start to smell bad when bacteria eat the protein-rich sweat from certain glands, with (butyric) acid as the stinky by-product. Some people just happen to have more of these particular sweat glands so they’re also more whiffy.
Rather than mask smells (and inefficiency) with cheap, dodgy scents like some deodorants, nuud tackles the actual cause of b.o. instead. Which means we don't need to resort to any of those gender-based marketing tricks either. Nuud smells naturally good on everyone.
