Most deodorant is sold on how it smells. This is what’s actually on your skin.
- Microsilver
- 99.9% pure metallic silver. Breaks down the bacteria that cause odor
- Zinc oxide
- converts the fatty acids in sweat into odorless zinc salts, and soothes the skin
- Sunflower seed oil
- nourishes the skin, rich in essential fatty acids
- Castor seed oil
- ricinoleic acid, which moisturizes and softens

The active
The part bacteria can’t get used to
Microsilver is 99.9% pure metallic silver. Not nano, not colloidal. Silver ions bind to the charged sites in the proteins odor-causing bacteria need to function, and the cell breaks down. Bacteria can’t build resistance to it, because losing those charges would destroy the cell.
It’s the expensive part, and it’s the reason this costs what it costs. nuud is roughly fifteen times more concentrated than a regular deodorant spray, and microsilver costs over a thousand times more per unit than aluminum. That’s why a pea-sized amount is enough, and why one tube lasts 6–7 weeks.
Why we made it
Most deodorant gives up before you do
Aluminum blocks your pores. Fragrance covers what gets through. Both are a cover-up, and both quit a few hours in. nuud neutralizes the bacteria that cause odor instead, so there’s nothing to mask and nothing to block.

Will I still sweat?
Yes. nuud is an anti-odorant, not an antiperspirant. It leaves your pores open so you still sweat, it just neutralizes the bacteria that cause odor.
Does it survive the gym?
Yes. The formula is oil-based and water-resistant, not alcohol-based, so it holds through workouts and showers.
