Ecocert is an independent French certifier that inspects natural and organic cosmetics against a published standard. It’s the reason we can put a number on “natural” instead of just saying the word: 100% natural, 71% organic.
02 · No microplastics
What isn’t in it can’t end up in the sea
Microplastics wash down the drain, through the sewer and out to sea, because water treatment plants can’t filter them out. That’s how they end up in the ocean. Which makes the fix a simple one: don’t buy personal care that contains them.
